AT&T Announces New Five-Year Contract with Aurora Pharmacy, Inc.

AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) today announced a new contract withAurora Pharmacy, Inc., a Milwaukee-based pharmacy chain, withpharmacies in more than 80 communities throughout eastern Wisconsin.

Under the terms of the contract, AT&T companies will provide avirtual private network utilizing Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS)technology and Cisco(R) Systems routers to deliver highlydifferentiated network services to Aurora's nearly 100 traditional andgrocery store pharmacy locations throughout eastern Wisconsin.

The solution will provide a flexible, secure network to helpAurora Pharmacy increase productivity and improve patient care acrossits various sites. The increased flexibility and next-generationtechnology will allow Aurora Pharmacy to access patient medicationrecords across the enterprise faster than ever, resulting in decreaseddowntime and improved patient care. The solution will also provideaugmented security and network redundancy, creating a secureenvironment for data transactions across the network.
