Patient information:
Levitra belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors. Following sexual stimulation Levitra works by helping the blood vessels in your penis to relax, allowing the flow of blood into your penis. The result of this is improved erectile function. Levitra allows an erection to last long enough for you to satisfactorily complete sexual activity.

It is important to note that Levitra does not work if there is no sexual stimulation.

Direction :
Always take Levitra exactly as your doctor has instructed you. Levitra is taken about 30 to 60 minutes before sexual activity and it will only work when you are sexually stimulated. Levitra tablets are for oral use. Swallow the tablet whole with some water. You may take Levitra with or without food. The ability to have sexual activity improves up to 4 hours after taking Levitra. Do not take Levitra more than once a day.

Side Effects:
The most common side effects include headache, flushing, upset stomach, stuffy nose, urinary tract infection, visual changes such as mild and temporary changes in blue/green colors or increased sensitivity to light and diarrhea. If these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor promptly.

Precautions
It is important that the doctor has your complete medical history.
