Flu threat and avian flu
threats are hottest debatable issues around
the globe. Sometime it seems a dangerous threat
for humanity but many times it seems just
a false panic created via media or news mongers.
It took birth in Asia, but now has become
threat for globe.
Public health organizations
are sending strict warning to the public regarding
spread of flu around the world. Now it has
been confirmed that HSNI bird flu virus has
become so resistant that it can spread from
human to human too. Only few Governments have
submitted plan of action regarding this.
This flu threat has taken
birth in Asia where hygienic conditions are
not up to the mark. The HSNI bird flu strain
has so far killed about 80 people in Asia.
Experts fear that it may spread to Africa
by migratory birds from Russia where birds
already have been detected with flu virus.
Millions flock of birds migrate to Africa
every year in search of warmer climate. Birds
from Russia fly via Eastern Europe and assemble
in area like Rift valley in East Africa. From
here they enter into Europe where till now
no serious detection has been made. Morocco
and Algeria are transit point for these migratory
birds.
Over the last eight years
avian flu has been detected in 11 Asian countries.
The flu virus has been spread by migratory
birds, with recent reports of virus in Siberia.
While killing hundred of
millions of birds, the current HSVI strains
of avian flu has spread to only approximately
100 human, 80 has died.Until now, most human
victims have been infected directly from birds,
with little evidence of human to human transmission.
Scientists have strictly
warned for years that deadly virus could mutate
into a form which can easily be transmitted
between humans, putting millions of lives
at risk. Now this threat is becoming real
possibility. Experts have reported in science
magazine that global break down of flu threat
is hundred percent.
